    The Order of the Eastern Star is a service organization throughout the World. We are raising funds to purchase/train Service Dogs for those in need of comfort. The Dodge City OES group is raffling a beautiful quilt located at Birds of a Feather Quilt Shop in Dodge City. (509 N 2nd Ave, Suite 9 – the old Eckles mall) All funds raised will be donated to the Service Dog project. Raffle tickets are $5.00 Drawing will be early Spring 2020

  2. Dodge City Days 2019

    2019 marks the 59th year for the Dodge City Days Festival! The Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce, along with a committee of community members, coordinates the 10-day festival each year. Its original intent was to celebrate Dodge City's great western heritage, and it still accomplishes that goal 59 years later/ The Chamber and the Dodge City Day committee strive to make the festival bigger and better every year.

    Landmark National Bank invites the public to attend the 27th Annual Landmark Art Show. This year’s art show exhibits the work of retired Marshal of Dodge City, Allen Bailey. Bailey is a professional wildlife and western artist who held the title of ‘Marshal of Dodge City’ for over 17 years.   7. Historic Trolley Tours

    Hop on the Dodge City Trolley for a trip back to the 1870’s. Visit the original locations of the Longbranch Saloon, Gospel Hill, the “deadline”, Front Street and so much more. Tour Fort Dodge, follow the path of the Santa Fe Trail and learn a few colorful stories along the way. This is a great way to get your bearings with an overview of Dodge City. Then you can plot the rest of your visit by adding those locations pointed out on the tour. Daily 1-hour narrated tours are offered Memorial weekend through Labor Day. The enclosed, air-conditioned trolley departs from the Visitor Information Center. Summer Hours (Memorial Day – Labor Day) 9:00 a.m. , 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

  9. The Harvey Girls

    The Harvey House chain of restaurants got its start in Topeka, Kansas, when Fred Harvey opened a café geared toward those traveling on the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railway. Preferring the term “Harvey Girls” to waitresses, he recruited single women to work at the Harvey Houses that gradually sprang up all the way to California and Texas. Between the 1880s and the 1950s more than 100,000 women, many of them Kansans, proudly wore the black and white uniform of the internationally known Harvey Company. The presentation will explore the adventures of these pioneering young women. Presented by Michaeline Chance-Reay. Mickey is an author and historian who teaches at Kansas State University.

  11. Freddy's Salute the Troops Hamburger Feed and Patriotic Concert

    Come share in a night dedicated to those that serve in the armed forces of this great country! This evening will be filled with patriotism in honor of the red, white, and blue. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be hosting the annual hamburger feed in the park. The first 1000 people get a steakburger or hotdog and a Pepsi courtesy of Freddy’s and Pepsi. The Dodge City Municipal Cowboy Band will entertain you with patriotic music beginning at 6:30 p.m. A Dodge City Days lapel pin is required to attend.
