The Kansas Heritage Center is a nonprofit social studies resource center operated through the Public Library in Dodge City, Kansas. The emphasis is history - especially the history of Kansas, the Great Plains and the Old West. A research library of books, microfilm, and vertical file materials is maintained at the Center.
Kansas books and other Sunflower State literature (teaching materials) are the specialties, but some Oklahoma books related to the Sooner State are also available to read.
Monday: 9 a.m.- 7 p.m.

Wednesday: 9 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
