Boot Hill Distillery
Spirits are again flowing atop Boot Hill, where outlaws were once laid to rest.   In the spring of 1872, George M. Hoover strapped a load of whiskey barrels to the back of his wagon and counted out exactly five miles to the edge of Fort Dodge’s reservation. There, Hoover erected a tent around two posts of sod, on which he laid a foot-wide board to serve as bar. And so, Dodge City, Kansas was born from a barrel. Boot Hill Distillery continues the legend of Dodge City with an obsessive dedication to handcrafted spirits, all locally sourced, milled, distilled and bottled from our very own farms.

Open Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  Tours offered at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 PM

Starting in September all tours will be $10, and then those who attend the tour receive a $10 voucher for the gift shop in the tasting room. If they don't want to use the $10 voucher to make a purchase, they can give us the voucher back and we will donate that money to a local/regional charity.
