Dodge City Days 5K & 1 Mile Shootout

Come participate in a 5K and 1-mile run/walk before the Dodge City Days Western Parade. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., the 5K race starts at 7:30 a.m. and the mile race begins at 9:00 a.m.

Lewis Automotive Two-Man MGA Golf Tournament

This is a two-man tournament hosted by Lewis Automotive Group. The format is nine-hole best ball and nine-hole scramble. To register your team, please contact Mariah Hills Pro Shop.

Dodge City Days Western Parade

We present to you the 62nd Dodge City Days Western Parade. Our theme this year is THE WEST IS JUST THE BEGINNING and promises to make for great floats sponsored by local businesses and clubs. To participate in the parade, contact the Dodge City Chapter of Ambucs at (620) 339-0194. Entry fee required. Please note the staging location: Soule Street will be closed from 6th Street to Central Avenue. Parade line up will begin at 7:00 a.m. at 6th Street and Soule. Awards will be posted on the dodgecitydays.org website and prizes will be available to pick up at the Chamber Office on Monday, August 15th. Check out the parade route found on the map included.

The National Beef Smokin' Saddles Official BBQ Contest

The 2022 National Beef Smokin' Saddles Barbeque Contest is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), Oklahoma Barbeque Society (OKBS), and the Rocky Mountain Barbeque Association (RMBBQA). This official cook-off is entering its 32nd year as the best BBQ contest in Southwest Kansas! Come see world famous Pitmasters compete for over $20,000 awarded in cash and prizes! Please leave your pets at home.

Held both Saturday mornings during Dodge City Days, Boot Hill Distillery will offer a Bloody Mary bar with extravagant garnishes. For the cost of the cocktail, patrons can choose from a variety of meats, vegetables, and other add-ons for their Bloody Mary. Come on down to the distillery after the parade and cattle drive for a fun, family friendly event. Kids are welcome and non-alcoholic options are available.

Centera Bank Backyard BBQ Competition

The Centera Bank Backyard Barbeque Contest gives backyard cooks the opportunity to show off their culinary skills. Follow the delicious aroma of BBQ into the park and stay to see which team takes home the win. Participants will prepare food for judges only. Please leave your pets at home.

Dodge City Depot Nights-Santa Fe Depot

The Depot Theater presents Dodge City Depot Nights. After a long day of soaking up all the activities and fun of Dodge City Days, step into the historic Sante Fe Depot train station and enjoy a cold beverage from the iconic Fred Harvey Bar.
