Back by popular demand, Barry Ward & Friends will provide entertainment during the Chuckwagon breakfast.

Landmark National Bank invites the public to attend the 25th annual Landmark Art Show. This year's art show highlights the work of fine art photographer Colleen Sternberger. hailing from Kansas, Colleen specializes in photographs of The American West. Mostly self-taught, her inspiration comes from the places she travels to and the people she meets along the way. Using her digital darkroom, she elevates her photographs with painterly qualities. Her work has won numerous awards and is included in private and corporate collections.

In the early 20th century, Emporia was home to a group of innovative quilters that included Rose Kretsinger, Charlotte Whitehill, and Hannah Haynes Headlee. Today their quilts are housed in art museums and revered internationally. Learn about Kansas quilts from this time period and the unique collaborations that sparked the "Emporia, Kansas Phenomenon" and some of the finest quilts of the 20th century. Following a brief lecture and discussion, participants will make a Kretsinger-inspired quilt square of their own. Workshop requirements: please allow 2 hours for this presentation and workshop. Minimum 5 participants, maximum 25. Participants should bring a thimble, needles, thread, fabric, scissors, and straight pins. Presented by Deborah Divine. Deborah is a researcher, instructor, planner, and quilting historian.
