  1. Dodge City Days 2015

    July 24 - August 2 @ Dodge City

    Dodge City Days is a 10-day celebration in one of the country last remaining Wild West towns, Dodge City (July 24-August 2). With a western theme, event highlights include the top-rated Dodge City Days Rodeo, classic car show, arts and craft show, KidFest, professional barbeque contest, a live cattle drive, a western parade more. The festival kicks off on July 24, with the Boot Hill Bull Fry and Bash. The Parade and Barbeque kicks the festival into high gear on Saturday, July 25. Then hold on to your hats, it’s a wild ride!

  2. Dodge City Days PRCA Wrangler Pro Rodeo

    July 29 - August 2 @ Roundup Rodeo Arena

    The Roundup Rodeo is the premier event of the Festival. They call it the “Greatest Show on Dirt” and it’s hard to argue. Dodge City’s rodeo among the top rodeo events in the country and it attracts saddle-sore cowboys from all over. The timing of the Dodge City event brings the top competitors vying for points to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in December in Las Vegas. The rodeo ticket office sells you the whole seat, but you really only need the edge of it. This year’s Rodeo begins on July 31, 2013 with the finals held on Sunday, August 4. You get to watch man pitted against animal whether it’s a twisting bull, a pitching bronc, or the horns of a steer. These cowboys demonstrate amazing skill as they hang on for the longest 8 seconds each evening. Imagine leaping off your trusty horse to wrestle a steer to the ground with your bare hands.     Pride of Texas Shows owns and operates over 20 amusement rides geared for riders of all ages. Welcome to the home of the Pride of Texas Shows, based out of Elm Mott, Texas. Pride of Texas Shows is a family owned and operated amusement company, providing rides, games, and food concessions to fairs, festivals, carnivals and events throughout the state of Texas. Owned and operated by Doug and Christopher Barton, Pride of Texas operates a variety of amusement attractions for all ages including the Power Surge, Blizzard, Tilt-A-Whirl, Giant Gondola Wheel, and the Zipper which was once owned by Michael Jackson at his Neverland Ranch

  4. Central Station Street Dance

    Feeling like kicking up them heels after the DC Roundup Rodeo Well bring them boots over to Central Station with "No Cover Charge, Customer Appreciation Night" featuring, "Birth" the Band and Central Station Dee-Jay will play a little bit of country and a little bit of Red Dirt all night long! Look for the free shuttle from the Rodeo Grounds!

  5. Dodge City Roundup Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament

    July 31, 7:00 AM @ Dodge City Country Club

    Dodge City Roundup, Inc. is sponsoring their annual Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament. Registration opens at 7am, with breakfast being served. Tournament is a 5-person scramble format and begins with a shotgun start at 8am. Awards luncheon featuring a steak buffet starts at 12:30pm. Belt buckles will e awarded to the winning teams in each flight. PRCA contestant entry fee is $55. Individual entry fee is $165. Entries are limited to the first 120 golfers.   7. Western Art Show

    July 31, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Landmark National Bank

    Landmark National Bank cordially invites the public to attend their 22nd annual Western Art Show. This year's artist is Colleen Sternberger. Her Fine Art Photography is printed on high quality archival materials and consists of various western scenes which include landscapes and wildlife. Meet her in person and view her limited edition art work in the lobby of Landmark's downtown location at the corner of Central and Spruce. Her prints will be available for sale.

  8. Historic Tour of Santa Fe Depot

    July 31, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Santa Fe Depot

    The Santa Fe Depot, built in 1898, is the largest depot still standing in the State of Kansas. During the large cattle drives of the westward movement, the depot, the Harvey Hotel and El Vaquero Dining Room were a part of the famous front street of Dodge City. A docent will give you a guided tour and will explain the history of the building from the past to the present.

  10. Dodge City Days Arts, Crafts, and Things Show

    July 31, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Village Square Mall

    Beat the heat and bring your family to Village Square Mall and enjoy strolling through booths filled with unique arts, crafts, and things! There will be vendors from all over the United States showing off their exceptional goods. The Dodge City Days Arts, Crafts, and Things show has new days this year, running mid-day Friday, July 31st through Saturday August, 1st.   11. Miss Rodeo Kansas and Teen Pageant Competition/Ice Cream Social

    July 31, 2:00 PM @ Senior Center

    Listen as the cowgirls deliver their speeches and answer impromptu questions. This gives you an opportunity to visit with the cowgirls and learn more about each of them. They will be on hand to answer questions about themselves and the competition, as well as sign autographs.

  12. Final Friday

    July 31, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Downtown Dodge City

    The arts are alive in Dodge City, Kansas! Every last Friday of the month, begin your tour through the Arts District, beginning at 5:00 pm at the Carnegie Arts Center in Historic Downtown Dodge City. At 6:00 pm, make your way down 2nd Avenue to the 2nd Avenue Art Guild. Explore the historic landmarks and admire local and traveling artistic talent at the venues. You'll see paintings, jewelry creations, sculptures, traveling exhibits, and experience talented musicians of varying genre, poetry, and more!

  13. Cargill Barbecue

    July 31, 6:00 PM @ Dodge City Roundup Arena

    With your Friday night rodeo ticket, you can enjoy delicious brisket, beans, roasted corn, and a drink for $3. All proceeds are donated back to the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo to help support our world famous rodeo and the Little Britches Rodeo event. Tickets may be purchased at the feed the night of the event.

  14. Dodge City Days Dance

    The best place for Dodge City youth to be is The Alley during Dodge City Days. Prizes and giveaways all night long- you don't want to miss the best dance of the festival. Come hang out and enjoy seeing your friends you've missed all summer.
