    Check out a bit of Dodge City History! Boot Hill Museum with gunfight re-enactments, country style dinner and variety show daily open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Santa Fe Depot Tours. The Gift Shop and Tours begin Friday May 2nd at the Santa Fe Depot! They are scheduled Friday/Saturday 11:00a – 2:00p and Sunday 1:00p – 3:00p through May 25th. Beginning Memorial Day, May 26th the Gift Shop and Tours will be open daily (seven days a week) 11:00a – 3:00p through Labor Day, Monday, September 1st.   2. Medallion Hunt

    July 21 - August 3

    The Dodge City Daily Globe presents once again the long awaited and anticipated Medallion Hunt. The hunt begins July 21st when clues begin to appear in the Dodge City Daily Globe, and then the fun begins, interpreting the clues and finding the medallion. Find it and turn it in, for a $500 cash reward. For more information contact the Dodge City Daily Globe.

  3. Dodge City Days 2014 "Saddle Up & Enjoy the Ride!"

    July 25 - August 3 @ Events scheduled throughout Dodge City, Kansas. Check the Official Dodge City Days Guide or www.dodgecitydays.com for event times and locations.

    The 54th annual Dodge City Days celebration themed “Saddle Up and Enjoy the Ride!” is a 10 day celebration starting July 25 through Aug. 3. Dodge City Days is well-known nationwide and is the second largest festival in Kansas with more than 50 events.

    Once again Landmark National Bank cordially invites the public to attend their 21st annual Western Art Show. This year's artist is Jamie Lavin. His oil paintings are produced on various mediums and consist of western landscapes, wildlife, as well as other western scenes. The artwork is displayed in the lobby of Landmark's downtown location at the corner of Central and Spruce. Stop by and view the incredible artwork and meet the artist. Prints and original artwork are normally offered for sale by the artist.

    The 2014 Wacky Trike races, sponsored by Pepsi, are back and more competitive than ever - come and watch corporate teams race against each other on these crazy, zany adult sized trikes. See who will win bragging rights for the year to come. Pepsi will be serving up the hot dogs, chips, and Pepsi. There will be food, fun, and music sponsored by Q-97 and Z-98.   12. Head Em Up and Move Em Out

    The early days of ranching and trail driving required stamina and determination. The drover of yesteryear had little choice but to face the elements placed before him if he was to get his wild cattle to market. A thousand miles on the trail brought him into contact with all that nature could throw at him: lightning, flooded rivers, hail, tornadoes, and stampeding cattle were constant challenges. Today’s massive beef industry owes its beginnings to the men and women who were bold enough to “head ‘em up and move ‘em out.” Explore this exciting story of cowboys, cattle, and the steak on your plate. Presented by Jim Gray. Jim is an author, speaker, promoter of cowboy heritage in Kansas, and executive director of the National Drovers Hall of Fame. Sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council

  15. Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo - A Wrangler Million Dollar Tour Rodeo, Silver Series/Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame Rodeo

    The Dodge city Roundup PRCA Rodeo - A Wrangler Million Dollar Tour Rodeo, Silver Series is one of the highlights of the entire rodeo. Five nights of nonstop action, the Rodeo is the place to be! PRCA Clown Barrelman of the Year Justin Rumford and Specialty Act "The Riata Ranch Cowgirls" trick riding will entertain each night throughout the rodeo. Kid's Boot Scramble nightly sponsored by First Christian Church of Dodge City. Sonic Mutton Bustin' qualifiers will be competing nightly with the finals on Sunday.   16. Dodge City Days Turn Into Dodge City Nights

    The Depot Theater Company presents an evening of cabaret style entertainment. Vocalists and musicians perform in a "club style" atmosphere in the historic Fred Harvey Hotel Lobby of the Santa Fe Depot. The evening includes a cash bar and appetizers. Seating is limited, so reservations are highly recommended. Please call the Depot Theater Company to reserve your ticket.
